Vision and Mission of IQAC

Vision :

To develop systematic quality processes in the college for evolving, enhancing and sustaining excellence in its academic and administrative practices and to set benchmarks for their periodic evaluation.

Mission :
  1. To develop a conscious, consistent and catalytic quality improvement system that encourages the pursuits of the staff and students of the college.
  2. To promote innovative practices to continually improve the effectiveness of the teaching-learning experiences of the staff and students.
  3. To strive to realize the mottoes of the college through the best possible implementation of the plans and policies of the Management, University and the Government, pertaining to knowledge production and dissemination.
  4. To ensure a learner-centric environment equipped with the latest techniques and technologies of teaching, research and sharing knowledge.

The IQAC being an integral part of the college works towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement by developing a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in different aspects of functioning of the college.

The IQAC assures the stakeholders i.e., students, parents, teachers, staff, Management, employers, funding agencies and society in general - of the accountability and transparency in the quality management system of the institution and its concern for ensuring quality of education being imparted.

Internal Quality Assurance System is a step towards Excellence. The IQAC of National College of Education organizes orientation programmes for faculty, administrative staff and the students. It conducts open forum to provide inter face between students and officials of the college. It conducts staff assessment and exit poll to provide valuable feedback for quality sustenance and improvement in teaching, learning, evaluation and research experiences in the college. It documents and reports various activities of the college for various higher education requirements. A continuous follow up has been made on infrastructural resources of the college to assure adequate, appropriate and better facilities to assure conducive and enabling environment for teaching, learning, evaluation and research. Through all these measures the IQAC happens to be one of the important components of the college which ensures quality and continuous improvement in all the aspects of the college.
