Personal Counselling Cell

National College of Education is one the premier academic institutions of the Malnad reason of Shimoga. The institution is known for its quality in teacher education and necessary facilities for its learners. In the changing scenario, Counselling Cell plays a vital role in an educational institution. The cell significantly stands for a facilitator for overall development of student teachers.

The college has a learner friendly and competent faculty in the Department of Psychology, it has become very easy and convenient to run the Personal Counseling Cell for the well-being of the learners. The Cell functions in the college once in a week to resolve the issues related to pedagogically, methodologically and scientifically. The faculty members render their quality services as counselors to them who are in need of help.

The Department of Psychology and other faculty members works for the counseling cell and sat together and shared their views about the problems faced by the student teachers and they reach to a conclusion after due discussions and arguments. They advise and suggest the necessary tips needed for the well-being of the student teachers and empower them with life skills needed to face the challenges in the teaching profession and this dynamic world. Each student teacher is precious and work happily in their profession and lead their lives happily is the prime objective of the Personal Counseling Cell. No valuable life should fall at the risk due to uncompromising ideas of a few individuals during the anger mood. The Cell is committed to observe and remains attentive in dealing with the students' problems. It motivates the student teachers to identify their inner strength which will enable them for their holistic development.
