The permanent campus of the National Education Society spans a 19.2 Acre stretch at Sahyadri Hills, West part of Karnataka state, India. The campus of National College of Education Shivamogga is in the campus of National Educational Society, Shivamogga .Which is at the centre of Karnataka State at the roads of National Highway 206 & NH 13. It is located either side of river Thunga which originates in the western ghats. Historically Shivamogga was ruled by Shivappa Nayaka on the foot steps Vijayanagara Empire Shivamogga is at western ghats which is a birth place of five rivers namely Tunga – Bhadra , Sharavathi, Kumudwathi & Varada . This place is known for its slogan during the national movement that is “Esuru Kottaru, Isuru Kodevu “ Its five rivers and stretch of forest add to its natural beauty.
